Sligo, Ireland – Anticipation for the upcoming Malayalam political action thriller Empuraan has reached new heights, as tickets for its special screening on March 27, 2025, at Omniplex Sligo sold out in just 2 hour.

The rapid sell-out underscores the growing global excitement around Empuraan, also referred to as L2E. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy, the film continues the gripping narrative that began in the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer.

Jointly produced by Aashirvad Cinemas, Sree Gokulam Movies, and Lyca Productions, Empuraan is the second installment in a planned trilogy. The film features Malayalam cinema legend Mohanlal reprising his iconic role, supported by an all-star cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, and several international and Indian actors such as Eriq Ebouaney, Jerome Flynn, and Bobby Simha.

With demand surging for screenings across the globe, Empuraan is shaping up to be one of the most awaited Indian films of 2025.
