The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has issued an urgent food safety alert concerning specific batches of Donegal Catch 4 Atlantic Fillets in a Barbeque Spiced Marinade. These products contain undeclared peanuts, posing a serious health risk to individuals with peanut allergies.

The affected batches include:

  • Batch L22024304 (SNFIIR) – Expiry Date: September 2025
  • Batch L22024326 (SN) – Expiry Date: October 2025
  • Batch L22024352 (SN) – Expiry Date: November 2025

Consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance are advised not to consume these products to avoid potential allergic reactions. The FSAI emphasizes the importance of checking packaging details before consumption.

Retailers have been instructed to remove the affected batches from shelves, and customers who have purchased these fillets can return them for a full refund.

For further updates and official notices, visit the FSAI website or check with local retailers.
