61-Year-Old Woman Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash in Cork

CO CORK – A 61-year-old woman has died following a single-vehicle collision that occurred this afternoon in the Glanmire area of Co Cork.

The incident happened at approximately 1:50 pm in the Dunkettle-Ballinglanna area. The woman, who was the driver of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí have closed the road to allow for a full technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators.

Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. Road users with dash-cam footage who were in the area between 1:30 pm and 2:10 pm this afternoon are asked to provide their recordings to the investigating gardaí.
