WATERFORD, IRELAND – The Kerala Muslim Community Ireland (KMCI) is set to host a major charity initiative, “Donate to Feed the Homeless in Ireland,” aimed at addressing the pressing issue of homelessness across the country. The event will take place on Saturday, 11 October 2025, at the Waterford GAA Club, running from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

This community-driven afternoon promises a blend of cultural activities, cuisine, and collective spirit, designed to galvanize support and raise essential funds for those experiencing homelessness in Ireland.

The gathering will be significantly enhanced by the presence of Mayor Cllr. Séamus Ryan of County Waterford. The Mayor is scheduled to officially attend the event, emphasizing the critical importance of civic responsibility, compassion, and inclusivity in efforts to support vulnerable populations.

Chairman Stresses Collective Responsibility

Anaz, the Chairman of KMCI, highlighted the necessity of unity in tackling this societal challenge. “Homelessness is a challenge that requires a collective response,” said Mr. Anaz. “This charity event is an opportunity for communities to unite, extend a helping hand, and ensure that those most vulnerable are not left behind.”

The event is a direct reflection of KMCI’s commitment to social welfare and meaningful civic engagement within Ireland, extending their service beyond their own community to benefit the wider public.
