Dublin, Ireland—Commuters using the Luas Red Line in Dublin are facing disruption this Monday morning after an operational fault forced a partial suspension of services in the city centre.
Trams are currently not running between the Abbey Street stop and the final terminus at The Point (Docklands area).
- Affected Section: Abbey Street to The Point (No Service)
- Operating Section: Services are operating as normal on the main section of the line, running from Tallaght/Saggart to Abbey Street.
- Alternative Travel: Luas tickets are being accepted on Dublin Bus services within the city centre to help passengers complete their journeys around the affected route.
Luas management has issued an apology to customers for the inconvenience caused by the technical issue. Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their commute and check for live updates before travelling.
