BANGKOK, THAILAND – Mexico celebrated a historic victory as Fatima Bosch Fernández was crowned Miss Universe 2025 at the 74th annual competition held in Thailand. Bosch, a fashion and apparel design graduate, surpassed 120 other contestants from around the globe to claim the coveted title.

Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjær Telvig of Denmark, officially welcomed the new queen, crowning Miss Mexico Fatima Bosch and ushering her into the Miss Universe family.

A Profile in Resilience

The new Miss Universe, Fatima Bosch, has instantly captivated audiences not just with her beauty and grace but also with her inspiring personal story of resilience and achievement:

  • Early Life and Education: Born on May 19, 2000, in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico, Fatima Bosch Fernández harbored a deep love for her culture and nature from a young age.
  • Overcoming Challenges: At the age of six, Bosch was diagnosed with Dyslexia, ADHD, and hyperactivity—neurodevelopmental disorders that affect children and adults. Instead of succumbing to these challenges, she dedicated herself to overcoming them.
  • International Experience: By the age of 16, she had moved to Vermont, USA, for a year of study.
  • Early Title and Career: At 17, she secured her first major title, Flor Tabasco. She went on to earn a degree in Fashion and Apparel Design from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico and pursued further studies at NABA in Milan, Italy.
  • Sustainable Focus: Bosch is known for her keen interest and expertise in redesigning reusable products, aligning her career with sustainable practices.

Fatima Bosch’s journey, from facing learning difficulties in childhood to winning an international crown, serves as a powerful testament to her determination.
