A lucky online player from Mayo has won a staggering €17,008,295 in the Lotto jackpot, marking the third-largest jackpot win in Irish history. This win, from the Wednesday, August 27th draw, reinforces Mayo’s reputation as a jackpot hotspot, with the county now holding both the largest and third-largest Lotto wins since the game began in 1988.

The winning numbers were 2, 6, 20, 22, 26, 39, with the bonus number being 5. The National Lottery has confirmed that they have sent a notification and an email to the winner, advising them to contact the prize claims team to arrange for the collection of their life-changing prize.

This marks the seventh Lotto jackpot winner of 2025 and the 17th National Lottery millionaire of the year.
