Nenagh, Co. Tipperary – A woman in her 50s has been airlifted to University Hospital Galway with serious injuries following a three-vehicle collision in Co. Tipperary on Friday morning, September 19, 2025.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:00 AM on the R498 at Latteragh, near Nenagh. The woman, a pedestrian, was seriously injured in the crash. Emergency services, including Gardaà and fire services, attended the scene. The Irish Coast Guard’s Rescue 115 helicopter was also dispatched to the location to provide air ambulance assistance.
There were no other injuries reported in the collision.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have concluded their examination of the scene, and the road has since reopened. Investigations are ongoing, and Gardaà are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They are particularly seeking to speak with any road users who were in the area between 7:45 AM and 8:15 AM and who may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings.
