Two-Vehicle Collision Closes Lower High Street in Sligo Town – One Driver Hospitalized

A two-vehicle collision involving a car and a van occurred on Lower High Street in Sligo Town earlier this morning, just before 10:00 AM. Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, ensuring the safety of those involved.

One of the drivers has been transported to Sligo University Hospital for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries remains undisclosed at this time.

Authorities have closed Lower High Street until further notice as investigations and cleanup operations continue. Local motorists are strongly advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes where possible.
