Dublin, Ireland – Chandy Oommen, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and son of the late Oommen Chandy, will inaugurate the Oommen Chandy Remembrance ceremony in Dublin on Friday, 2nd August at 6 PM. The event is organized under the leadership of the Overseas Indian Cultural Congress (OICC) Ireland.
The ceremony aims to honour the legacy of Oommen Chandy, the former Chief Minister of Kerala, who was known for his dedication to public service and his significant contributions to the state’s development. Oommen Chandy’s tenure as Chief Minister was marked by numerous initiatives that benefited the people of Kerala, including the Kochi Metro and the Kannur International Airport. Chandy Oommen, who has followed in his father’s footsteps in public service, will lead the remembrance event, which is expected to draw a large gathering of democrats and admirers of Oommen Chandy’s work. The officials of OICC Ireland have extended an open invitation to all democrats to join the event and pay tribute to the late leader.
