DUBLIN / WEXFORD — Four men have been arrested following a major operation that resulted in the seizure of over €7 million worth of suspected cocaine across County Wexford and Dublin.
The arrests and seizures were carried out yesterday as part of Operation Tara, an initiative aimed at disrupting and dismantling drug trafficking networks nationwide.
Gardaí conducted two separate searches in Gorey, Co Wexford, and Shankill, Dublin. During the operation, authorities recovered approximately 104 kg of suspected cocaine, with an estimated street value of €7,280,000.
In addition to the drugs, Gardaí also recovered €47,000 in cash and a number of digital devices.
The four men arrested—one in his 20s, one in his 30s, and two in their 40s—are currently being detained at Garda stations in Dublin and Wexford. The seized substances will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for comprehensive analysis.
