DUBLIN, IRELAND – A man in his late teens has been charged following the seizure of a significant cache of weapons and drugs in Dublin this week.
The discovery was made as part of a planned operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Inner City. The operation involved searching a vehicle in the Beaumont area during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
During the search, authorities recovered several firearms, ammunition, and a quantity of drugs. The seized weapons included a lever-action rifle, a crossbow, two disassembled handguns, an air pistol, and various knives.
In addition to the weapons, drugs with a street value exceeding €2,500 were also found, including crack cocaine, cocaine, diamorphine, and cannabis.
The arrested man, who is in his late teens, has been formally charged and is scheduled to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Friday morning.
