Emergency services are currently attending the scene of a single-vehicle collision on the N4 dual carriageway in County Sligo.

The incident occurred earlier today between Collooney and Castlebaldwin, prompting authorities to close the affected stretch of road to ensure public safety.

Motorists traveling in the area are advised to use alternative routes as diversions have been implemented. Traffic is being redirected via the L3700 Castlebaldwin to Collooney road.

Drivers are urged to follow the guidance of road signage and plan their journeys accordingly to avoid delays. Updates regarding the reopening of the N4 will be provided as the situation develops.
