Sligo Stabbing: Man Hospitalized, Suspect Arrested

A man was stabbed in Sligo town early Monday morning. The attack happened in the Church Hill area around 5:30am.

The victim, who is in his 30s, was rushed to Sligo University Hospital. He has serious injuries but doctors say his condition is stable.

Police quickly arrested another man in his 30s. He is being held at a local Garda station under Irish criminal law.
