SLIGO/IRELAND: The Indian Association of Sligo is marking a significant milestone as it steps into its 20th year. Ninan Thomas has been elected as the new President, while Mable George takes charge as Secretary.

Moncy Varghese will serve as Treasurer. The other office-bearers elected include Diaz Xavier (Media Officer), Ashish Sharma (PRO), Sreelekha Ravi Chander (Cultural Secretary), Nicholas Devaraj (Cultural Secretary), and Princy Pappachan (Cultural Secretary). Shiny Jose will serve as Auditor.

The results were announced by Election Officer George Chaddha.

Long an active force within the Indian community in Ireland, the Association plays a vital role in preserving and passing on Indian culture to the younger generation. At the same time, it continues to build strong, positive relationships with the local community and places a strong emphasis on integration.
