The Health Service Executive (HSE) has issued a public warning urging consumers to stop using four vape products following a European product safety alert. Tests revealed that these e-cigarettes contain nicotine concentrations exceeding the legal limit of 20mg/ml, posing potential health risks to users.
The affected vape products include:

HSE Advisory to Consumers and Retailers
As a precautionary measure, the HSE is advising consumers to check their e-cigarettes and immediately stop using the listed products if they own any. Customers are urged to return the vapes to the store where they were purchased.
Individuals who have used these vapes and experienced adverse health effects should consult their GP and report the issue to the HSE at ei.esh @dpt.ofni.
The HSE has also notified distributors and importers of these vape products and instructed them to take immediate action. Retailers must:
- Remove the affected products from sale.
- Contact the HSE to provide full product traceability details.
- Display a recall notice prominently in their store, on their website, and across social media platforms.
The recall underscores the importance of product safety regulations in the vaping industry. Consumers are advised to stay informed and purchase e-cigarettes from reputable sources to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
