A Dublin-based EuroMillions player is celebrating a windfall of €255,000 after winning big in the latest EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle draw held on Friday, May 23. The lucky player, who purchased their ticket online on the same day, claimed the standard €5,000 raffle prize along with a special top-up of €250,000, part of a limited-time promotional campaign by the National Lottery.

The winning raffle code for the draw was I-SDD-67295.

This win marks the seventh of nine guaranteed €250,000 top-up prizes being awarded as part of a month-long EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle event, which has been generating heightened interest among lottery players nationwide. Two more of these enhanced draws are scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 27 and Friday, May 30, giving players additional chances to scoop a major prize before the promotion concludes.

“This is a fantastic win for one of our online players in Dublin,” said a National Lottery spokesperson. “With just two of these special draws remaining, there’s still a chance for more big wins.”

Tipperary Player Scores €500,000 in EuroMillions Plus

In a separate stroke of luck, another online player in County Tipperary claimed the top prize of €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw, held on the same night. The winner became the 15th person in Ireland this year to win the top prize in EuroMillions Plus, a supplementary game that offers players a second chance to win significant prizes.

The winning numbers for the EuroMillions Plus draw were:
21, 32, 36, 46, 47

The National Lottery has confirmed that both the Dublin and Tipperary winners have been notified and encouraged to contact the Prize Claims Team to begin the process of collecting their winnings.

Over 65,000 Irish Winners in Friday’s Draws

Although Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot of over €182 million went unclaimed, it was still a rewarding night for many in Ireland. More than 65,000 players across the country secured prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws combined, reflecting the ongoing popularity of the multinational lottery game.

The EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle continues to captivate players by offering not only the standard €5,000 prize to ten winners per draw but also the €250,000 bonus to one lucky participant in each draw throughout May. This enhanced format has injected a fresh layer of excitement into the weekly lottery schedule.

For players interested in participating, the final draws in this month’s special promotion are just around the corner. Tickets can be purchased through authorized retailers or directly via the National Lottery’s official website or app.

How the Ireland Only Raffle Works

The Ireland Only Raffle is exclusive to Irish EuroMillions ticket holders. Each ticket includes a unique raffle code that is entered into a draw where ten codes are randomly selected. During May’s promotional campaign, one of these winners is selected to receive the €250,000 top-up, significantly increasing the appeal of each draw.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the National Lottery to increase engagement and offer more meaningful prizes to Irish players. It also adds a layer of national exclusivity within the broader EuroMillions framework, which spans nine European countries.

Ongoing EuroMillions Draws and Future Prospects

While the EuroMillions jackpot was not won on Friday, it will continue to roll over, increasing the potential payout for future draws. The escalating jackpot, paired with the Ireland Only Raffle top-up, means Irish players have multiple opportunities to win big.

As anticipation builds for the final draws in May’s special event, the National Lottery is reminding players to purchase tickets early to avoid missing out on a chance to become the next big winner.
