A missing teenager from Sligo Town has been found safe and well after being reported missing for over five weeks.

Seventeen-year-old Jake Hafford was last seen on January 21 and had been the subject of a missing persons appeal.

An Garda Síochána has confirmed that he has now been located and expressed gratitude to the media and the public for their help in finding him.
