Two young men lost their lives, and two others are in critical condition following a single-vehicle crash in Co Donegal on Friday night.

The incident occurred around 9:30 PM in Baltoney, Gortahork, when a vehicle collided with the gable wall of a house. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but two passengers could not be saved.

The driver, a male in his teens, and a rear passenger, a man in his 20s, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other male passengers—a man in his 20s seated in the front and a teenager in the rear—were transported to Letterkenny University Hospital, where they remain in serious condition.

The bodies of the deceased have been taken to the hospital’s mortuary for post-mortem examinations. Authorities have closed the road for a technical investigation, with local diversions in place.

Gardaí are urging witnesses to come forward, especially those who may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, from the Baltoney area between 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Milford Garda Station at 074 916 7100, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
