Lixnaw, Kerry – A toddler is currently recovering at Cork University Hospital following a severe dog attack in her family home in North Kerry. The incident, which occurred on Saturday evening, involved a 12-month-old girl and a dog believed to be an XL bully breed.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene in Lixnaw after the attack, swiftly transporting the toddler to the hospital where she underwent immediate surgery.
