Child Dies in East London House Fire, Five Others Hospitalized

A devastating house fire on Napier Road, East Ham, East London, has resulted in the tragic death of a young child, with five others hospitalized. The fire, which required six fire engines and about 40 firefighters, broke out just before 8:30 AM on Saturday. The blaze severely damaged both the ground and first floors of the terraced house. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) managed to control the fire by 9:10 AM.

Patrick Goulbourne, Assistant Commissioner at LFB, expressed deep sorrow over the incident, stating that their thoughts are with the affected family and community. Newham Council leader Rokhsana Fiaz also conveyed condolences, emphasizing the profound sadness felt across the community.
