KYIV, UKRAINE – A young and prominent crypto entrepreneur, Konstantin Galich (also known as Kostya Kudo, 32), was found dead inside his vehicle in Kyiv’s Obolonskyi district. The death follows one of the most significant digital currency market crashes in history.

Galich was discovered inside his Lamborghini with a gunshot wound to the head. Kyiv Police Department officials confirmed that a firearm registered in Galich’s name was found near the body.

While the police have not ruled out the possibility of an unnatural death, they indicated that the circumstances suggest a suicide. Police sources revealed that Galich had previously told relatives he was suffering from depression due to financial difficulties.

The severe crypto market crash is attributed to a major global event: a threat by US President Donald Trump a few weeks prior to impose a 100 percent tariff on Chinese goods. Within 24 hours of Trump’s announcement, approximately $400 million was wiped out of the cryptocurrency market, leading to the substantial financial hardship faced by many investors and entrepreneurs in the sector.

Kyiv police are continuing their investigation into the exact cause of death, but current evidence strongly points towards a tragic end linked to financial distress.
