Status Yellow Wind Warning Issued for Waterford, Wexford, and Wicklow for Friday

IRELAND — Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Wind Warning for the three southeastern counties of Waterford, Wexford, and Wicklow, forecasting strong and gusty southeasterly winds for Friday.

The warning will be in effect for a limited period, starting at 11:00 AM and expiring at 5:00 PM on Friday.

Key Impacts:

  • Travel: Difficult travelling conditions are expected.
  • Safety: The wind may displace loose objects and debris.

Met Éireann advises residents in the affected areas to “be aware” as the weather is potentially dangerous at a localized level, urging them to take preventative action.
